Easily the best food we had on the Gold Coast – and hands down the best value for money. The meals were absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and surprisingly affordable. Amazing quality, big servings, and great prices – all the good stuff in one spot.

15.99 for 1 can of soft drink 1 portion of Fish & Chips with 2 small fish pieces , but it was really good & did not disappoint me. I rate the fries premium, delicious and crispy. The waiter was very cheerful and friendly. I think they are the owners, and they understand that Customers bring them profit, so they did a great job! I really appreciate this eatery, they have better service than the restaurant!

Absolutely loved the food here! I ordered the chicken fried rice, tomato chutney, and chow mein — everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The taste was spot on, and both the quality and quantity were impressive. Honestly, the quantity for the price I paid was mind-blowing! On top of that, the service was outstanding — friendly, fast, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Fijian-style comfort food! Will definitely go back !

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taste of Fiji Island the Gold Coast for lunch, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.The food was nothing short of amazing! The chicken fried rice was perfectly seasoned, with tender pieces of chicken and a great balance of flavors. The chicken chowmein was equally delicious, with fresh vegetables and savory noodles that hit the spot. I also tried the tomato chutney, which added a lovely tangy kick to the meal, and it paired wonderfully with the soft, fluffy roti, which was cooked to perfection.Overall, I highly recommend Taste of Fiji for anyone looking for flavorful and satisfying lunch options. Dropped in for lunch for the first time today and was greeted by the owner himself. He was very kind and friendly. Family run business. He walked us through his menu which was very nice. We ordered some lunch for takeaway and the service was excellent. The meal was packed beautifully in order to prevent spillage, the meal was packaged with glad wrap neatly. The food was SPECTACULAR. The owner really takes you back with FIJI with the taste through his food. Definitely the BEST FIJI FOOD in Queensland. Shop n Save is no where near them. Exceptional food, amazing service. Really love how it’s a family run business with a passion to deliver the best to its customers. Well done brother. We will definitely be back. Chilli Chicken was BOMB! Must try!!!!

So glad I found this spot off the beaten path of Surfer’s. The menu is a bit hard to follow as there are different items displayed in different spots around the restaurant but I made my own veg combo pairing different bits and pieces and it was perfect.The main was the aloo bean, a really hearty and well seasoned stew of potatoes and green beans. I paired it with steamed cassava, taro and roti which were plain on their own but great when paired with the aloo. For 19 it was also good value.

Have the privilege to stay close to this restaurant while me and my wife were on holiday March 2025. Owner and his family are so friendly and lovely. Food is delicious and comes in big portions. Worth every dollar. Our favourite place in Surfers during our weekend holiday. Thank you and will definitely comes back. Vinaka
